Disclaimers - I do not own The Phantom of the Opera or The Bachelor. Heck I haven't even watched The Bachelor. I downloaded the Erik, Hermione, Rose, and Mary Sue Sims from various places. I got the girls' various articles of clothing at AllAboutStyle. WARNING Image Heavy

by x-Mrs-Kristina-Lupin ^^^ Irrelevant note: I happen to like Arsene Lupin. The name just strikes a chord. I don't know if this has been here. But I'm gonna say. Some crossovers are okay, but some are not. This one? Not! So here's a bit of a wank. Part of chapter twelve.

Ah, "Point of No Return." Such a powerful, emotionally charged moment...on stage. In the film, not so much. And here, well, forget it...
( In which everybody concerned behaves in ways that don't make sense, are out of character, contradict what they've done earlier in the story, or all of the above. Oh yeah, Rose gets hit by a chandelier, which probably contradicts her fate in the series and DON'T TELL ME WHAT THAT IS, because I'm only up to 'Fear Her' right now and I'm trying to go into the finale as spoiler-free as possible. )
I feel like I need to wash the stink of Schumacher off after that...

 | 02:37 pm Just when I was about to give up and seek another phic, "The Doctor of the Opera" gets an update. I'm not sure whether to be thrilled or nauseated. Given that "No One Would Listen" is involved, probably the latter.
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2940763/6/
( Between the abuse and social rejection on one side and Gallifrey going kaboom on the other, haven't Erik and the Doctor suffered enough without having to go through this phic? )</>

Carlotta and Buquet croak, in different senses of the term--but the Doctor and Rose would rather make sweet Time-Lord-on-human love than actually do anything about it. So help me, I only WISH I were making this up.
( You have no grammar, no pacing, no sense of character--and yeah, that does just scare me to death. ) Current Music: Soundtrack: Allegria the Film

 | 02:36 pm - The Doctor of the Opera, part 3 So the Sci-Fi channel's pre-empting their run of the first season of Doctor Who this week to do whatever Memorial Day marathon/movie-fest/why-go-outside-when-you-can-stay-home-and-watch-our-programming thing they've got going on. So I have to wait another week to watch Chris Eccleston rock all over the final fifteen minutes of "Bad Wolf." Crap.
Even more crap, the one of the silliest crossovers in history continues to bore and annoy: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2940763/3/
( The only thing more irritating than reading some phangirl's lame rehashing of PotO/MotN is reading about two characters--who really should have better things to do, like saving the universe from calimari in trash cans with sink plungers attatched or something--watching some phangirl's lame rehashing of PotO/MotN. )

 | 09:48 pm Because a) I just knew someone would do something like this eventually, b) the other time-travel phic I've been wanking hasn't updated in a while and c) the only thing more annoying than a phic that messes with one's obsession is a phic that messes with two of one's obsessions (good thing there's no chance of Erik ever making a detour to Lost Island). Here it is: a Phantom/Doctor Who crossover.
"The Doctor of the Opera" by The Opera Ghostess http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2940763/1/
( WARNING: Contains extremely tedious prose, massive abuse of at least two canons, and lots of DW references that will have those who don't watch the show saying, 'What the HELL is she talking about?' )
